Chinese Knot

Eastern Inspired Jewellery!

Tai Knots is derived from an ancient art form known as Chinese Knot. This useful and strong knotting technique dates back over a thousand years to the Tang Dynasty (996 A.D.). Since its inception, Chinese Knot has been popularized and has evolved from its more practical use for hunting and fishing, into beautiful forms of decoration and jewellery in Taiwan.

Tai Knots is a combination of this very old tradition and designer Rachel Norman's vision of elegant jewellery - the result is a look that appeals to any fashionista!

Community Involvement
In support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Tai Knots will be donating a silent auction piece for the Runway to a Cure fundraiser on Sunday October 15th, 2006 at the Hilton Lac Leamy.
